the issues. 1) First gear is short. I know it's a SUV/SAV but it's a little annoying. 2) RPM's are WAY TOO high on the highway. 5th should have been taller. BMW needs a 6-speed and NOW. 3) This one isn't so bad, but the clutch engagement is a little funky and abrupt.

The good news is that the 0-60 is much improved and sporting driving is made easier. Good luck! -Pete

Several should have the 3.0 with manual transmission configuration by now. Any owners not pleased? I've got a Week 48 build...going 3.0 with stick...should I reconsider my tranny choice?

Plan on going very basic...stick, leatherette, xenons, upgrade stereo, and PDC.

How much handling performance do I lose by not going with Sport Pkg?

Thanks. Best regards, JD
