No. Final Drive is different than the top-gear ratio (as you can see). I suspect BMW made the top-gear ratio of the automatic lower to make up for the worse mileage of automatics... Manual drivers get a little more pep, but since pep isn't what 5th gear is traditionally about, one wonders why they didn't go lower and give us yet better mileage too.
