fuel guage indicated one quarter tank when full (archive)

3600 mile. For the first time fuel guage does not indicate accuratelly. After fill up 23.4 gallons fuel guage indicates 1 quarter full, and distance remaining on computer is 88 miles. Any fixes? Thanks
