Navtech only makes the map CD's. They also make the map CD's for just about every NAV system in most cars sold in the US. The maker of the NAV system is Philips (aka CARIN). You can look at the web site at www.carin.com but the current NAV system has been replaced. My guess is BMW will replace what's in the X5 next year with the new system currently used in the 2001 5 & 7 series. FIFW, BMW had a demo of the NAV system at www.bmwusa.com. You can look to see if it's still there.
