Has anyone here test driven the Land Rover? (archive)

I test drove one today and was fairly impressed
with it. The dealer took us out and took a right
turn at 45 and the thing didn't even lean. It had
the ACE option which hydraulically adjusts the
torsion bars to keep the vechicle level. It was also
very quiet smooth riding. The ride was actually
better than my 540iA non-sport. Then he took us to
an off road course and showed us why the Land Rover is
considered the best off road vehicle in the world. I
think for a base price of 33975, I will definitely
consider the Land Rover when I am ready to buy. The
X5s are nice, but over priced. I still think BMW builds
the best cars in world however.
