My wife and I are ordering an X5 this afternoon. 6 weeks delivery.. can't wait. I was wondering about the Navigation system we are ordering with it. Is there a web site for the manufacturer where I can find out more info on it. The bmw site is sketchy. The brochure states it comes with the computer with 8 functions...what are the functions?

I've also just received my 4.4 with the GPS. The instructions are vague and incomplete. I think you just have to play with the system and learn its operation for yourself. It is complex - if you use all of its features. The BMW phone is also annoying. The instructions are not in depth, the antenna is terrible, basically it does not increase the outgoing or incoming signal. If you unplug the phone while looking at the receive strength display, there is no decrease in blocks on removal of the antenna. My dealer tells me this is normal. I'm a HAM radio operator and I know better. Ahhhhhhh.
