I've had a Range Rover and two Land Rover Discoveries. They were great SUVs especially when I used to go off road 4 wheeling to get to our summer place but they were less reliable then the X5 I currently have. The X5 is not perfect by any means but better then the Land Rovers were. Of course the X5 is less capable when the going gets really rough but that's not a problem for me anymore since we graded the access road and smoothed it out. Best, Chuck
