X5 owners......please help! (m) (archive)

I need somebody here to take a measurement for me. I own a 2000 328Ci. I dropped my car off at the dealer for service on Friday. While washing it on Saturday, I noticed a door ding that I'm 99% sure occured at the dealer. Before bringing in the car, I always detail it thoroughly because I think they'll baby it it if it's pristine (pretty naive, huh?). When I picked up the car, it was parked maybe 18 inched from an X5 3.0 (pretty nice). It was too dark to check for dings and it was raining(wouldn't have been able to see it anyway.) The ding is too high for a car to have made it. Could someone with an X5 measure from the ground to the point of probable contact on an opening driver's door. (there's probably a plastic door protecting strip there. I want to be sure if I accuse the dealer of causing it. Thanks in advance!!!! (my e-mail address isn't posted because I'm on a friend's PC)
