I had a range rover. the difference is really none. what is different is that the x5 is faster they both are heavy and are hard to roll over in off road situations. me being a crazed off roader must say though that the range rover is better off roading. but the x5 is more thrilling. you can do so much work on the beach in th x. it's like a little kid while you do 360'. in the range it is more like big circles.
