I've had my 4.4l X5 for about 6 weeks, and have been generally quite satisfied. But I have gradually become aware of an anomoly in my vehicle, and I'm wondering if others have noticed this.

The driver's seat slopes about half an inch toward the left. I know it doesn't sound like much, but after awhile, my left cheek gets a bit tired.

Both the seatback and the seat bottom seem to be tilted the same amount. I looked under the seat, but didn't find any obvious problems with the structure of the seat or the way it's mounted.

I made a slight, temporary improvement by stuffing some extra foam padding under the left side of the seat. But this doesn't totally fix the problem.

I'm wondering if this is just a single bad seat that was installed in my vehicle, or whether others have noticed this.

The passenger's seat is fine.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or observations.

I have a 4.4 and my seat is dead level.
Serge
