I had a similar problem with my Range Rover and that has an aluminum body and it was metalic silver. I took it to a first class body shop and much to my surprise it turned out fine. Over the following years the paint continued to match the other panels and there was no bad after effects from accident. It was expensive for the repair but worth it to me in the long run. If you go to the best shop you can find, I guarantee you that, when they finish, you will never know your car had been in an accident. The best shop is not necessarily the most expensive or the largest. My wife had an $8,000 accident in her Suburban. I went around to auto supply stores and asked which body shop was best. I went to the shop with the best reputation. Good luck,
