I HAVE AN '00 4.4 X5 AND THE SPEEDO IS ACCURATE ANY ANY SPEED AS VERIFIED WITH MY HAND HELD GPS. I USE MY HAND HELD GPS TO CALIBRATE ALL MY VEHICLES SINCE I TRAVEL A LOT AND I CAN NOT AFFORD TOO MANY SPEEDING TICKETS YOU MAY WANT TO TAKE YOUR X5 TO THE DEALER FOR RECALIBRATION.

HOPE THIS HELPS

CHARLIE

Anyone besides me thinks the speedometer is off by a couple of miles 40 miles/hr and above?

Anyway to check to make sure. I cannot be going at 60 miles an hour with people passing me left and right on some of my frequently used roads.

What's an awful shame is the GPS BMW supplies will not give us a ground speed readout. I don't know how they get away with it!
