I did talk to Louie (very nice guy) and he gave me the parts numbers and everything. However after further investigation, I decided to put an aftermarket system in. I finally listened to the BMW premium system and compared it to an aftermarket quality system and my ears liked the latter. I will pay a little more, but I think I will be happier.
By the way, the audio shop salesmen told me it was very common for owners to hold on to the stock parts and have them re-installed when the vehicle is traded in or the lease is up. Then you can put your customized system in your new vehicle. Sounds like a good idea to me. Especially since it is an investment depending on what you buy.
