I did talk to Louie (very nice guy) and he gave me the parts numbers and everything. However after further investigation, I decided to put an aftermarket system in. I finally listened to the BMW premium system and compared it to an aftermarket quality system and my ears liked the latter. I will pay a little more, but I think I will be happier.
By the way, the audio shop salesmen told me it was very common for owners to hold on to the stock parts and have them re-installed when the vehicle is traded in or the lease is up. Then you can put your customized system in your new vehicle. Sounds like a good idea to me. Especially since it is an investment depending on what you buy.Woody
Woody,
Do you have any idea from talking to your guy what size the stock speakers are, and where the stock amp(s) is located?
Thanks,
Scott
