Rick, here's a table with the available torque at the wheels. It may be better to tow with the V8 since the I6 doesn't have much torque. Or get an ML320, which has lots of torque. It's also listed in the table below:


Thanks for the feedback...I had a X5 3.0 on order an dbacked out due to the torque ratings comapred to the 4.4. Yet i can't stomach the price tag for the 4.4 it is so hard to justify. The ml needs stlying help before my wife will drive it...
