I'm trying to decide whether to wait for the x5 3.0i which isn't available in England until mid-2001. Can't test drive it until spring ........... Anyone got a view about how the 3.0i drives versus a similar engine Lexus, Jeep or Mercedes SUV?

Have driven the x5 4.4. How much am I giving up on the 3.0i especially in the mid-renge?
