SanFran is a difficult market: some dealers will not even come DOWN to MSRP, so you're off to a good start.

Dealers make money on service, so they are not likely to turn down anything in that area. If you end up buying at SF BMW or East Bay BMW you can still have service done close by.

I did buy at East Bay, partly because its close to me, and also because I've bought 2 other from them and they've been totally honest with every piece of business we've done.

Care to share your experiences, positive or negative?

Sonnen BMW ( San Rafael, CA) is 2 minutes from my house - but they won't yield on MSRP. If I buy elsewhere, does that affect servicing from them?
