You can always drive in the snow. How fast is a different question. If you don't have the sport package, you're actually pretty well prepared w/ AWD. The tires on the SP aren't rated for snow so if you have it, I would get snow tires. If you live in a place with snow all winter, I think two sets of tires are much better than one. That way, neither of them is a compromise. Winter tires are good on snow and ice. Spring/Summer/Fall tires are good in the dry and the rain. In any case, always be extra careful when traction is questionable.
