It looks like it might be a topaz with gray leather, but the lighting makes it hard to tell.

On a whim I went to the BMW Germany site and used their car configurator. There is a color available in Germany "stahlgrau", which I think translates to "steel gray", that looks like it might be a match for the picture. Given that there are Renaul signs in the picture, it seems likely it's from a European auto show.

The Germans do get a better selection of colors than the US does:

Germany USA

alpinweiss Alpine White
schwarz Jet Black

graugrun
impalabraun
mahagoni Mahogany
oxfordgrun Oxford Green
pearlbeige Pearl Beige
saphirschwarz
stahlgrau
titansilber Titanium Silver
topasblau Topaz Blue

The graugrun (Gray Green) looks nasty to me, but the impalabraun (Impala Brown) and stahlgrau (Steel Gray) look very nice! They also get an additional interior color, mahogany, which is reddish-brown and looks great in the pictures.

Why is it that the Americans always get the bland stuff? The Europeans also get more choices for options and are not forced to lump things together in sport, luxury, etc. packages. Does BMW use a bunch of Palm Beach County seniors for the focus groups?
