Just stumbled across your posting . unfortunately no nokia solution yet lack of time and energy ........but there must be a way. bmw offered a nokia kit for the 3110(?) and all nokia phones are very similarr....
the phone in my car is a pain , its wierd how bmw can build such a cool car and put such a lame phone (& nav syst) in it...

Has anyone found a way to utilize the antenna, speakers, power, steering wheel controls or display for a Nokia phone? I remember fola saying that he was going to hack into the system because he liked the Nokia phones much better. I agree. I would like Nokia, but I do not want another antenna installed, and I really like the idea of an integrated system. It seems like there would have to be a way to create an adaptor that would allow the use of at least some of the equipment that is already wired into the X5.

Thanks for any responses.
