My dealer tells me that my 3.0i has been held up at Spartanburg for an undetermined length of time due to parts supply problems for the auto-dimming mirror that I have in my order. Can anyone confirm this? My vehicle has been in 153 status since 10/31/2000!

Wow... since all these mirrors come from the same place I would think the hold up would also affect all vehicles. Generally in a situation like that they ship the car anyway and have the item installed by the dealer. They did that recently with bumpers on the E36/7 when there was a shortage of bumpers.
