X5L... How many inches longer??? (archive)

We needed a bigger rig than our 4Runner (2 kids, 4 1/2 and 2 + school chums). Bought the MDX... Hate it! Horrible driving — read MINI FAT VAN !
Been driving my 94 525i since it was new, Dinan Chips, K&N air filter, whatever. Loved the X5 4.0L, however way too little storage area same obviously holds true for the X5 3.0L. Anybody guess how many inches the X5L may be and the approx. street date for the L version? All guesses, prognostications will be put in a hat and pulled at random by the chimp who picked the Nasdaq Tech Stock winners (just kidding). Give me what you know, guess, surmise. Just let there be storage/third seat capability. Don't make me buy an allroad!!! What a nice rig that is!!!
