the easiest way to do that is to dump the ROM from one phone to the other..... however, since the version of the phone BMW uses is not internet ready, it would render the other phone functions obsolete..

i had contacted BMW NA re the CPT 8000 3 months ago, and what people on the board don't realize is that it will require an extensive retrofit of the "black box" and rewiring per BMW NA to make it work....

personally, although i wish the phone was integrated, i can more easily access al the phone functions (mail, internet, one touch dialing, caller id, etc) where this phone is mounted, and moreover, since sprint offers VOICE COMMAND for $5/month, i really don't think the CPT 8000 will be worth it.....
