Engine Break In? I am picking up my x5 tomorrow. (archive)

Do i need to treat the engine like a baby for a few thousand miles? has it already been bench tested and fluids been replaced and since they use synthetic fluids do i need to break it in ? Thanks.

picking up from morristown at 6pm Topaz 4.4 no sport fully loaded xcept phone.
