I had the same problem—it was caused by the multi-pin connector for the system, which had been forced into the wrong holes/alignment. It took three trips to the dealer to, a) diagnose/try to fix old part, b) re-diagnose and order new part, and, c) replace the part. That’s two more than it should have taken, but its been fine ever since.
