Outside temp along with miles to go before refill, mpg, and average mph is displayed below the speedometer on the 3.0 without the Nav. You access the info with the "bc" button on the left turn shaft.
Without the MID or the Nav you cannot do all the neat programming stuff: fan on before entering car, speed warning, etc,
