On the 4.4 only, you can order the 8-func MID as an option for something like 3-400.

On both the 3.0 and 4.4, MID is incl. with NAV.



Where is the non NAV MID located in the car?

Just in CASE you are getting NAV... the MID comes with it.


What is the Multi-Function Info Display? Does anyone see any real advantage to this addition to their X5 and why is it not available on the 3.OL? Is it similar to the display in the middle of the S-Class’s dashboard? What happens if there is a problem with the car's systems how do I find out there is a problem if I don't get the Multi-Function Info Display? Also if I decide on the X5 3.0L where does it display the outside temp I have grown to love this feature on my MB S 500 and couldn't see myself without it.
