Has anyone had a trailer hitch mounted on their X5?

I have the BMW hitch and wiring and it is very good, although expensive. I towed a trailer with two jet skis and a BMW motorcycle from Maine to Florida (total weight about 2,200 pounds) and couldn't even feel it behind me. Frequently travelled at speeds of 85 MPH or more.
