There were only two things I wanted from the Climate Package: rear temp controls, privacy glass, and (Ok, I have to admit it to myself) the separate controls up front 'cause I am always cold and he's not). I could have probably gotten the privacy glass added as an option (as it is available on the 4.4 so they already have the parts made...all it would take is a good sales person and I have that). I could have lived without the other stuff but it was a creature comfort I opted for.

I don't think I will ever use the shades so it doesn't matter how poorly made they are (the super glue trick seemed like a good fix to me. Search the archives if you have problems.)

There have been complaints about the auto climate controls which I can live with. If I get hot or cold I have fingers that can change that for me simply and quickly...no biggie. I kinda doubt that I will notice that much of a difference...+- 5 degrees isn't too much, really. But when he's hot and I am still chattering there isn't much else that can be done. That was worth it to me.

I don't think the cost was so prohibitive that it wasn't worth it. IMHO, of course.
