this board should not be your only place of researh on possible issues. we own a 00 323i and have had no problems. if you review that board you would think that the car should have fallen apart by now. as in most situations the those who complain tend to do so frequently and loadly and those who are satified are quiet.
I have an X5 on order but I am starting to get really concerned about all the problems people are expressing with this vehicle. Makes me wonder if I should cancel and wait until the 2002 model comes out and BMW gets the bugs worked out. X5er's are there really that many problems?
