Discounts are difficult in this area but quality of dealership should be more important. After checking out 3 BMW dealers, I found Jim Goldstein (direct # is 847-283-6605)at Kanuz to be not only a gentleman of his word (a knowledgeable one at that) but representing a quailty dealership. My 2001 X5 is my second car from Knauz and they have gone out of their way to earn my loyalty. You might even get a few bucks off of MSRP.

ps Knauz has BMW and Mercedes dealerships right next to each other. he currently is in the Mercedes store but he drives a BMW 540 so you know where his feelings are.
(he sells both lines)
Hi,

I went for a drive in an X5 and now I'm in love with this vehicle, never before have I been this jazzed about some metal and rubber. So I'm hoping to join the X5 3.0i ranks soon but would like some recommendations for dealers in the Chicagoland area. Research on the web tells me that MSRP and Invoice are different by about 10%. I'd like to bring that in between 5.5 and 7% if possible.
