This is the seventh unscheduled service visit for the vehicle. I have never had a vehicle who's door latch system was faulty, has anyone else? Whose fault is it if not engineering or manufacture? I feel that a door latch system is pretty basic. If I were not home when the latch failed and had to drive the vehicle with a door unsecured, that would have been more than a "little problem". As it is I only have the inconvenience of being without the vehicle, again.
If the latch were the only problem I have had, I could forgive it. I have, on this message board, been a staunch supporter of the vehicle. I guess this was the "straw".
I truly hope you better luck with your experience. This is still america and we are free to make choices based on whatever criterion we feel apropriate. As for me, I'll be shopping for another car company.

Don't hold a whole vehicle line and a whole manufacturer at fault for a lousy mechanical problem on a DOOR. Its a little problem; get it fixed and move on...
