I ordered my X5 on May 21, and took delivery in another state as arranged by Perillo's staff.. they were outstanding.. having bought 5 BMWs from other dealers, I have not had anything but positive experiences from the staff and dealership in Chicago dealing with problems with my last car, an E36 M3.... their service department and technicians are very honest and competent, to say the least.

Check out my website....... it offers details on who and why to talk to at Perillo... you will *NOT* be disappointed.

I am currently residing in NH, and will be purchasing all my BMWs from them....

remeber, there is more to purchasing from a dealer for this type of automobile than just the price...

you will see what I mean when you visit them.

You won't be disappointed.

By the way, I don't how having a combined BMW/Landrover/MB dealership, etc, affects prices among marques...... or what the dealer drives.. the bottom line is their sales allocation from BMW NA, and Perillo is THE highest volume dealer in the entire Midwest.... therefore, they receive the most cars in the fastest time...... my order to delivery date was less than 7 weeks for my X5, almost unheard of in May 2000.

Interestingly enough, all the staff at Perillo drive some sort of BMW, in every combination.

Good luck, and happy hunting.
