I bought mine at Patrick BMW in Schaumburg and the service is really good there but have had service at Perillo too and they seem to be just as good.

I am glad to hear that Patrick has good service. From what I have encountered thus far (I asked them to pre order an owners manual for me) they were very nice, very helpful, and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

To me, the purchase is only one part of the whole vehicle experience. I have had many vehicles where I purchased it at one place and serviced it elsewhere. They make far more money off of service than they do the vehicle itself so most places offer good service. If they don't...LATER! Too many others to choose from.

With the deal that Patrick gave me with free pick up, loaner, and delivery of my X5 for the entire time I own it, I am certain that it is only through them so I paid more attention to their service people (including the parts folks) to be sure that they looked ok. I didn't see any angry customers. I didn't see a ton of X5's in for service. I wound up meeting the service manager (as I was asking some of my many questions about tires, back up lights, etc.) and found them to be very nice indeed. I think this is going to be a good arrangement.

Thanks for the good words! It makes me feel a little more at ease about this deal.
