When I had the stall problem it took only one phone call to BMW corporate. They were very aggressive about rectifying the situation. They contacted my dealership, had they service manager call me to make an appointment and gave the service department the info they needed to make the fix. And then my vehicle stalled a second time (in August) and they told me at the time I would have to leave the vehicle to have the DME unit sent back to SC to ugrade but I couldn't make an appointment for three weeks and by the time I brought the SAV in (second week of september) they had already come out with an even newer software fix that could be done at the Dealer. You may want to check with your service to see if they have a newer fix from the time you brought yours in.
