Anybody using an X5 for a tow vehicle? (more) (archive)

We're considering getting an X5 to replace the Villager MiniVan and my 3/4 ton (2wd) pickup.
I'll want to use the X5 to tow an Austin-Healey to vintage race events and an M Roadster to Autocross events.
Guessing the weight of a trailer at 1500 Lbs., the Healey @ 2400 Lbs. and the M Rdstr @ 3100 Lbs.
If any of you has experiance using the X5 for towing, I would like to hear what you think of it.
