Steering memory Problem, HELP! (archive)

Sometime, my steering wheel will not go back to the correct position after I enter the car and turn the ignition on (When this happen, the steering wheel is at top position). I have to press the seat memory to restore the correct steering position. To correct this problem, I usually turn the ignition off again (make sure steering wheel goes up) and turn the ignition key on again (steering wheel goes to the correct position)

Is this normal?
