I would like to join if my X5 comes back from service :-( Has any one had any problems similar to mine below..

I bought a new X5 and 3 days later the 'Check engine soon' light came on. One of the BMW services first said it is a problem with a cooling sensor. Now they are saying that the whole Engine Control Module has to be replaced. Could someone help me understand this problem and tell me how serious this problem is.. Thanks very much!

It's a pretty busy time of year right now. One of the CCA Chapter members suggested this months ago, too, but I have not heard from him yet. Keep me posted, though, & I'll see what happens this week.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be interested in a bay area BMW meeting. Maybe we can all meet up somewhere and get something to eat, take a nice drive down some windy roads....the usual. Anyways, if anyone is interested, please let me know. I was considering setting the meeting for saturday, December 30th. Thanks a lot, Happy Holidays!

Ernie
