How come DSC doesn't have any ABS vibration? (archive)

I tried my 4.4i in the snow yesterday. The DSC light came on and off indicating that it's working during hard cornering. However, I felt silky smooth when it's doing its work. None of the ABS or HDC vibration at all.

Is this normal? Why?
