resell value after 4-5 years? any guesses? also... (archive)

Be honest folks, I am trying to determine what the resell value will be on a 4.4 fully loaded. Currently it will sell for about $60,000. After say 4 years and maybe 75,000 miles, how much do you think I could get for it? Is $30,000 unreasonable?

On a side note, although the X5 is my first choice, I have also been contemplating a new Porsche Boxster or MB SLK instead. I currently have an Explorer, so if I got the Boxster or SLK, I'd keep the Explorer for travel or snow. But the convertibles sure would be fun in the summer and they are the same price or less than the X5. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks. :)
