We like our X5 a lot and have put about 500 miles on it so far including a trip to Copper Mtn. The drive was almost as much fun as the skiing. No regrets whatsoever. I only wish the fuel economy was a bit better and the engine a bit stronger. I bet I will be satisfied with the power after break-in when I don't have to worry about babying it.
There has been a period on getting used to driving a high profile (I don't mean tall) vehicle but we're getting to be comfortable.
Our X5 was late too. They kept making excuses about not having enough trucks for delivery that may or may not have been true and also cited the weather. However, not having any idea when the vehicle would come in was especially annoying.
You know that we weren't thrilled with Gebhardt but I was hoping that others were having better experiences. The delivery was OK but I just don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about the whole thing.
It wasn't us at Jarrow, this year both of our kids got into Community Montessori and we really like it. We tried to get them in there last year but didn't have any luck with the lottery so they went to our second choice, Uni Hill, which was good. Previously they went to Mountain Shadows Montessori and before that to Boulder Montessori for their toddler program. The public choice, Community Montessori, seems a little less uptight than Jarrow or Mountain Shadows but that’s just my opinion. Choosing a school is hard and the lottery is less than ideal.
