My door(s) also begin by not latching (bouncing when you try to shut them), but if either I lock them (manually or electronically) or the 5 MPH auto lock locks them, they will not unlock. Last night, my doors would shut securely from the outside if closed very hard, so then they are sealed and locked shut, even though the locks and handles appear to work properly. You can't get in or out.

My dealer has been very good, helpful, prompt, and concerned about this issue...they just don't have a clue where to look or what to do. They have previously gotten BMWNA involved. I am not mad at the dealer. I am not mad at anybody, but I have no other choices if they can't fix this safety issue. I am just disappointed.
