I haven't posted here before but do all the time on the E46 and E39 boards. I am a client advisor at a dealership just up the road from you
in Akron,Ohio. So I know what I'm talking about.
Congratulations on your new X-5. You'll love it!!

Has this happened to others?..... I had ordered what was a Status112 X5 (Mahogany Brown/Blk 3.0, 5 speed with all other options) on December 8th of last year. When it finally arrived at the dealer the first week of January, it turned out to be the wrong car! According to the salesman, my order had reverted to the original settings that the dealer had prior to me coming in.

Anyway, the salesman re-ordered (at a Status110 this time) and “my” X5 had finished production and released to be shipped on the 22nd. I am in Cincinnati and that trip should not take more than two days. Still no car. Can the dealer (salesman) find out EXACTLY where the car is? Heck you can track a pencil shipped via FedEx!
