If you sell your car to someone with a different driving style will it adjust to them? What is the timeframe for self adjustment to driving style? I mean, does it check every time it is driven then average the time driven over a series of drives or what?

The ATC computer may have been reset to default settings during your recent reprogram, losing the adaptive learning of your driving style. The car could have felt sluggish, etc until it re-learned your driving style and optimzed the settings for you.
