I didn't like the wait all all either. Because I wanted the X5 so bad and didn't want anything to go wrong (like an accident with my trade-in and wanted to get the max for my trade-in), I pre-traded my pathfinder in and lived without a vehicle for 6 weeks (but it was a long six weeks without wheels). Fortunately, I live in the city and took a bus or train everywhere which was a humbling and most educational experience for me and has made me more street-wise.
