I feel you on that one. My buddy and I, both young black males went to Stevens Creek BMW because my wife and I were looking for a 98-99 740iL and he was just looking. The same thing happend to us. We actually went inside to have the receptionist call a salesman and they still didn't help us. Finally, we saw a black salesman outside and he helped us. I don't know if it is a thing with BMW dealers. The same thing happened to me at Claridges in Fremont when I first moved to Cali. about a year ago. I guess some things will always be the same. We actually ended up getting a used 2001 X5 with 1800 miles on it at a different place. I make it a point to get my warranty work done at these two dealers now, just so I can floss on them fools. Good luck with your search. Peace. at stevens creek bmw in sj. i wanted to buy a X5 today. but none of the sales people would even look my way. i knew this for a fact because they would pass me by to help a older white man looking at the same car. so pissed that such a great car has such poor sales people.
