I can't say it without sounding like an ass, but it really pisses me off when a salesperson passes me by for someone who I know has less money to spend than I do. I guess I'd get more "respect" if I shaved, got my hair cut, and wore a freaking coat and tie, but that's a bunch of BS. If I ever have sales people or other customer-facing employees reporting to me, I'll fire their sorry asses in a heartbeat if I ever find out that they're behaving in such a manner.
And please, anyone of you who want to lecture me about this just being the way things are, don't bother. It's a load of crap, and if you think that it's not then it says a lot about you. A BMW dealer or anyone else who "profiles" someone is no better than the white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and police who engage in this practice.
Sincerely,
Skip
Put things in perspective with most car sales people. What do you expect from people with no skills and little education? Since their parents failed, the company needs to conduct some remedial training on the relationship between courtesy and making a living. Obviously, the car buying experince and having to deal with these people is not one of my favorite things.
