But we weren't really looking to buy at the time. Just to look. It's especially difficult when you come in not looking your best, and there were already people looking at the car we wanted. It's sad that since you don't look like you could afford a bimmer, you're kind of ignored. However, when we did go in on a Sunday morning to look, we were greeted by a salesperson. I guess one way to get around stereotypes would be to go in at a time when there is nobody else there, and they must pay attention to you. Don't let the buying experience take anything away from you enjoying your X5. There's lots of BMW dealerships, and if you're like me, you'd be willing to go just about anywhere. Good luck.
