Programming keys has nothing to do with day time running lights! Also, you may get a discount on your insurance if you have them.
Hey everyone...

I've been a "fan" of this forum for quite some time. It's been very informative. Thanks. This, however, is my first post.

I just recently (this past saturday) ordered my X5 4.4 silver w/ black interior, w/ sport, activity, moonroof, xenon, nav, prem sound, dimming mirrors, privacy glass.

Now...I have a question about the day time running lights. Is it truly a daytime runing light or will the lights just be on. The salesman wasn't sure and I wasn't sure how I should have the keys programmed. Any info???
