I know I've seen threads on this before, but I could not find anything helpful in the archives.

My gear indicator light (PRND etc) on the center console never goes out. It does not go out after 15-20 minutes of inactivity. It just stays on forever as far as I can tell.

Was there ever a concensus that this is abnormal?


The fix for the shift indicator light staying on is to replace the directional indicator. By now, there should be a fix published for it. My dealer discovered it.
